Leslie Vecchiotti
Leslie joined the Palmyra-Macedon Rotary Club in 2008, shortly after her daughter, Julianna, headed to Germany for her exchange year as a Rotary Youth Ambassador. Leslie advised the Pal-Mac Interact Club from 2003-2019, was Club President in 2018-19, and has been Club Secretary for the past four years. In 2021, Leslie was honored with a Paul Harris Fellow. She is also a Foundation Sustaining Member. On a District level, she has been involved in Youth Exchange since 2009 as a Country Officer and Training Advisor. In July 2022, Leslie took on the role of District 7120 Executive Secretary - very big shoes to fill left by Karen Parkhurst.
In August 2019, Leslie retired after more than 34 years of teaching and Staff Development, the last 23 of which were in the Pal-Mac School District. She continues to be a consultant for Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES, and works part time at Wegmans as an in-store shopper. Leslie resided in Fairport and has three amazing adult children.
