Empire Multi-District President Elect Training Seminar is a training program for all President Elects, Assistant Governors and club leaders in Rotary Districts 7120, 7150, 7170 and 7190.

 

The program begins with four virtual sessions to help future club leaders with the nuts and bolts of running a club, such as how to create a budget, where to input your goals and what our insurance will cover. These are held on zoom over the course of four evenings in February 2024.

 

The main part of the training takes place in person, at the DoubleTree on Carrier Circle in Syracuse, March 15-17, 2024. The weekend includes fantastic speakers from across the country, covering a variety of topics, many of which you will get to choose from for breakout sessions. There are vendors where you can buy new Rotary gear, learn about Rotary resources, and connect with local and international service projects that your club might want to participate in. One of the most valuable parts of the weekend is the networking and opportunity to connect with fellow Rotary leaders from across the state. The discussions during coffee breaks and meals, the sharing of successes and challenges, and the connections you make will have a lasting impact on your Rotary journey.

 

Remember, if your club's President Elect is unable to attend (or has not yet been identified), we encourage you to send another member in their place. All clubs have already paid for someone to attend, so consider sending your current president, a board member that is on a leadership track, or even a brand new member who will be able to learn a lot about Rotary in one weekend!
