ALL ABOUT PRE-PETS

Your Pre-President Elect Training Seminar (Pre-PETS) will be held virtually, with four 1-hour sessions on zoom in the month of February. This part of training for incoming Club Presidents is designed to cover the nuts and bolts: planning a great meeting, putting together a budget, making sure you have a logo, and reviewing many of the functions of running a club. It's not wildly entertaining, but it's very important stuff to know.
In addition to the main topic, we'll include helpful tips to cram that much more learning into every session!

Read on for more details about what we covered each week.

Why attend Pre-PETS?

Gain some of the basic, administrative skills with these quick online sessions to prepare you for our inspirational in-person weekend. The topics might seem mundane, but these are really important tools for running a club. Each one-hour virtual meeting will be a great investment of your time.

Some of these may be activities that you delegate or collaborate on with your other club leaders, so consider inviting them to the session that is relevant to them (like your Treasurer on finance night, or your Public Image chair on Feb 21st). Take full advantage of having our district and regional leaders providing insights and highlighting tools for you and your team!
